EQUIPPING LEADERS THAT EDUCATE, INNOVATE AND BRING HOPE
The last year has brought unprecedented change on a global scale. Never before in our lifetime has the rate of change been so fast, nor the impact been so immense. Ripples have been felt in every community not least in mission, ministry and theological education in the Majority World.
Bible college leaders and teachers everywhere have responded to this challenge with courage. The pandemic has created an opportunity for the Church to play a central role in reaching disadvantaged and vulnerable people. The innovative leadership from OCA's partner theological colleges around the globe in the face of these great challenges has been inspirational.
This public talk will explore the essential role of theological colleges in equipping the body of Christ globally in such difficult times. We’ll discover what makes it possible for an institution to thrive and innovate in the face of disruption and we’ll reflect on how agile leadership can enable the restoration of hope.
After postponing our Melbourne Annual Dinner in 2020 due to Covid-19 lockdowns, we are thrilled to present Rev. Timothy Meyers, Principal of MST and Eastern College, as our guest speaker.
HOSTED BY BISHOP STEPHEN HALE
Victorian Director, Overseas Council Australia
