Rev Dr Stuart BrookingExecutive Director
Stuart has worked in Anglican parish ministry in Sydney and Geraldton, WA. He has been a director of various church-based companies. He was National Director of the Church Army in Australia and joined OCA in 2003 as Executive Director. He holds the part-time role of Head of the Department of Ministry and Practice at the Australian College of Theology, and does occasional lecturing in Australian Bible colleges. He has broad academic and mission interests and travels extensively visiting the OCA partner colleges. Stuart has degrees in five disciplines and his PhD is from the University of Sydney looking at Western influences on theological education in the developing world. Stuart and Marion have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Alison CookeSydney Director
Alison has an extensive background in the not-for-profit sector working for various church and charitable organisations including The Salvation Army, Anglican Youthworks, The Heart Foundation and the Uniting Church. Her roles have included corporate relations, brand management, marketing management and business development. Alison has worked with OCA since 2008, overseeing marketing, events management and student sponsorships. Alison also facilitates OCA’s relationship with our Sydney partners. Alison recently completed a Bachelor of Theology degree and is currently undertaking post graduate studies. Internationally, Alison is responsible for OCA’s colleges in Africa. Alison has previously worked as a photographer and her work features in most OCA publications.

Danni de KeizerCommunications and Projects Officer
Danni recently joined the OCA team to assist in the areas of communications and project management. Danni works part-time and is studying a Bachelor of International Studies studies part-time, further developing her understanding of the international arena. She has many hobbies, varying from creative to musical to short-lived sports interests. She has four older brothers, three sisters-in-law, and an expanding group of delightful little nephews and nieces.

David ConnellOperations Manager
David has been with OCA since 2007 and works in the Parramatta office where he is responsible for all day to day operations.

Until 2015 David and his wife Helen were regulars at Katoomba Christian Convention held each year at Easter, where they had been volunteering for the previous 16 years.
David and Helen have 3 adult children, and a grand daughter.
Ken OffordConsultancy Program Director
Ken is an electrical engineer and has practised in a consulting capacity for a number of years. His work has included professional engagements and community development projects in various South Pacific countries. Ken joined OCA on a part time basis to help develop and coordinate a consulting program to further support OCA partner colleges. In addition to the coordinating role, Ken is part of a team working on some master planning for Christian Leaders Training College.

Linda PetersonSponsorship Program Coordinator
Linda has a background in working with people with disabilities and with church and community groups.

She joined the OCA team in December 2009 with responsibility for managing OCA sponsorships, and donor and college relationships. The work and vision of OCA resonates strongly with Linda’s own interests in community, culture and mission.
Linda is completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Philippa BlomfieldAccounts Assistant
Philippa has an Associate Diploma in Accounting and has worked in a number of bookkeeping roles. In more recent years she has contributed her skills to various charitable organisations. In 2010 Philippa, together with her husband Bill and the younger of their two children, lived in Hong Kong where she worked in the accounts department of Crossroads Foundation Ltd. Philippa joined the OCA team in February 2011 providing invaluable assistance to our Operations Manager with internal reporting records and other projects. Philippa commutes from the sunny South Coast to our Parramatta office twice a week, generally using the time on the train to read.

Jenny SonnemanMelbourne Director
Jenny grew up in Melbourne and worked in education and then in the mental health field. In 2001 Jenny and her husband Steve went with Church Missionary Society to Pakistan to serve alongside local leaders in theological education. Jenny and Steve lived in Pakistan for 14 years and had 2 children over there. The last 6 years were spent at ZBS (Zarephath Bible Seminary), serving under Rev Ashkenaz Asif. Jenny was involved in Resource Development at the Seminary. Now back in Melbourne, Jenny loves her role with OCA connecting Victorians with the great work of God around the world. She also ministers at their local Anglican church, alongside her husband. Jenny is committed to her dual focus of local community and the worldwide church.

Robyn CoopesPerth Director
Robyn is a born and bred West Australian, and loves living in Perth with her husband Marty and 2 primary school age children. Before having children, she worked for 15 years as a Chartered Accountant within the corporate tax field, then took a year out to study at Trinity Theological College in Perth, completing a Diploma of Theology. Robyn’s past opportunities to serve Jesus and His church include serving with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES), Perth Women’s Convention, Trinity Theological College, various ministries at her church, St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shenton Park and, of course, as a mother and wife. Marty and Robyn have loved being part of the globally strategic ministry of OCA and Robyn considers it a great privilege to introduce people in WA to OCA’s ministry so they too can be part of God’s work of training up leaders for His church around the world.
