Since it began in 1987, OCA has sponsored over 500 students through to graduation.

This is a great achievement and shows the commitment of Australian Christians to support their brothers and sisters in developing countries. We currently have about 200 students being sponsored.

Colleges supported by OCA have a good record of graduating competent students. We began compiling a list of what graduates are doing five years after graduation. The majority of Students who graduated in 1998 have continued well in ministry.

40 Students graduated from 5 Colleges.

Five years later

31 were known to be working in pastoral ministry

6 were not contactable by the college in PNG
due to communication problems, but
presumed to be in ministry

 

•

1 was a teacher

 

•

1 was in literacy training

 

•

1 had died.
