It must be:
a. evangelical, subscribing to the WEA
statement of faith.
b. well governed, with clear Board structures,
policies and practice,
c. have good relationships with major churches in the
country, and
d. be of above average strategic value in the country
or region.

It must pass the Overseas Council selection process, which
will take at the shortest, several months, and perhaps some
years. This will involve OC representatives visiting the college
and examining key documents, interviewing key people, and
analysing the strategic plan and business plans of the college.

It must fit the objectives and focus of OCA at the prevailing
time. OCA is not able to support colleges in the entire developing
world, but must focus its interests.

|
It is unlikely that new ventures would be supported. OCA
looks to the proven history of a college before offering support.
