Centre for Christian Studies,
Peking University

In July 2000 the prestigious Peking University, situated in Beijing, China, decided to establish a Centre for Christian Studies within the religious Studies Department. A group of Christian lecturers have been invited to contribute significantly to the program through their organisation, the International leadership Group.

OCA believes this is a strategic project. The church of God is growing at a phenomenal rate in China with many hundreds of thousands, possibly millions added annually. The great need is for Biblically competent leaders.

Student Pastors 2003
Pastors' class 2003

This project has the potential to train a generation of leaders for the expanding church. Unlike most Christian leadership training in China, this course is within the university system, thus carrying a higher official status. Students will study for certificates and degrees awarded by the university. The course is open to anyone but draws mainly on young leaders within the house church movement and official Three Self Churches.

Students attend intensive classes in January and July each year, over two or three years to gain a certificate or masters degree.
